Hello everycreature again and welcome to a new submission. This artwork is direct sequel to Yosh's road to the amusement park
When my great friend Yosh started his story about the previous artwork, I realized it would be amazing if I draw a sequel which included at least one of the attractions inside the park he was about to visit, that was going to inspire him so much to continue writing! This attraction, called The rapids is basically a good excuse to get a little bit damp on a hot sunny day like those typical ones you're going to find if you visit the park. It indeed has several water attractions mainly for that propose. It was of course, extra interesting to draw one of those attractions since our protagonists were going to get damp a bit more than just their feathers on it :P At least, it is interesting to mention that the park includes changing rooms for those kinds of situations hehe.
It was going to be even more interesting if there were more characters involved in the artwork, that's why we included Armin Carson the Condor, as a friend which Yosh visited, and a teen Gecko, family friend, who is taking care of the children in this occasion. I put a lot of effort on their designs, so I hope you can appreciate a lot the result nwn
I have to say that this artwork wasn't as complicated as I was expecting. As all the artworks with more characters, it required more hours, but not necessarily more effort. Character designs weren't easy, and some details of their postures weren't a piece of cake either, but in this case I would say that my biggest challenge was to choose the proper colors for the whole scene. I was looking for something full of color, as our South American countries usual feature, but I neither wanted a kind of melt ice cream over a canvas :P So, I tried to balance the use of different to get a colorful, but not pain to see result. I liked pretty much how it resulted, and how every element and character integrates in the scene. I'm without a doubt really really happy with how the entire composition resulted at the end and I think it will be at the level of the amazing story Yosh will write to use it as cover art nwn
So, what do you think? Aren't those creatures going to need more than a towel when the ride ends or not? :P

This scene occurs in The Rapids, a real attraction of the National Coffee Park. In this attraction the creatures sit down on a circular metallic raft which moves across an artificial river circuit with some waterfalls and fountains where everyone inside is going to get damp want it or not, at the same time, there are some places where the raft accelerates and hits the walls adding some adrenaline to the ride.
In the artwork the raft is almost completely visible, however, the characters are standing instead of sitting (there are no sits in this version, they are supposed to be standing). The circular raft features a bright yellow outside border in its walls while the main part of the external surface features a nice blue color like the sky and the name of the park which is only partially visible from this angle (only the letter “FEE and PAR” are visible), as well as some tiny drawn coffee leaves to decorate. The inside of the raft is mainly black colored and already has some water puddles.
At the left of the scene there is Yosh standing and covering his closed left eye with his claw due to the incoming water and holding the diaper tapes with the other claw. Yosh is of course wearing the same outfit of the artwork in the car, with his blue t-shirt with a star and his purple colored diaper which is by the way, pretty full of water already :P Yosh seems to enjoy the ride and at the same time he looks a bit nervous for all the water hitting, he has the mouth opened and we can see his tongue. Yosh feathers seems to be pretty wet.
In the middle of the scene there is Armin Carson the Condor. He seems to enjoy pretty much the situation. Armin’s body is mainly purple, but a soft nice degrade finishes in more like a fuchsia color in the tip of his feathers in each wing. He also has a yellow beak with a darker yellow tone in the tip. His head is a bit tall and square and his neck pretty long, his legs are basically bird legs, orange colored, similar to chicken or even eagle legs, he wears a blue collar too. Armin seems to enjoy a lot the situation, he has his wings extended to receive all the rain, his eyes fully closed and he seems to be jumping a little bit from the ground. He, just as Yosh, looks pretty wet so far, with some water on his feathers and even dripping from them. He is wearing a bulky diaper with blue details which is also pretty damp already and dripping some water drops too.
At the right of the scene we have the female teen Gecko taking care of the kids at this attraction. She seems to be enjoying the ride as she also looks a little bit worried for getting wet. Her body is mainly dark yellow colored with several black stain over it, she has a cream tone from the neck to the tail, but here it is only visible at the neck because she is wearing a red blouse and classical blue jeans with belt, she also wears blue tennis and white and pink colored socks barely visible due to the raft walls. Her head is mainly rounded without any kind of fur of course, she has her right eye closed due to the water, and she is trying to avoid the drops putting her left claw over her face. Even so, she is pretty wet, especially in the head. She also seems to be smiling a little bit because of the situation.
The end the artwork description let me tell you that we can see several drops of water coming from the sky pretty much like rain, one of the puddles of the raft reflects Armin’s right leg, some big rocks are visible on each side of the ride as the background, and the sky, even if it looks blue, also shows some yellow sunlight coming from the top.

Oh, wow, Sweetie! This is a great piece of inspirational art. It also brings me back to my childhood where I rode on a similar ride and got really soaked by it. Knowing such a ride exists at The National Coffee Park really gets my playful imagination excited to write about it.
***
I feel you captured Yosh's character perfectly. He may be half-duck, but that does not mean that he wants to get wet by things that he does not want to get wet by. The sound of the waterfalls and fountains would also be a bit scary since, at this time, Yosh would have had no previous experience at an amusement park.
Armin is exactly how I thought he would be. He is a brave, little, Giant Condor who loves the feel of adventure he is getting with his favorite babysitter. He would be so caught up in the fun that he would believe that Yosh is just being playfully silly instead of being a little scared of all the loud noises, spinning of the raft, force of the waterfalls and fountains, and knowing his diapers are just about ready to fall off from all the water they have been filled with.
Our teenage friend is in a very good position for enjoying the ride to its fullest. She may need to change her clothes after changing Yosh and Armin's diapers, but she is certainly enjoying the playful reaction of Armin to the ride as Yosh quacks up a storm as a result of being just a little bit scared over how the raft ride became so noisy and intense when it started out so calm and quiet.
***
I look forward to expanding upon this art you did while connecting it to the previous picture you created. The result will be cute, fun, and one that will take me back to some really good memories that I am glad to relive to make a story for our rapid riding friends.

Oh, most definitely. The inspiration is strong and, once I figure out just a few small details, I look forward to adding even more to what you have already shared through your art. :)
Thanks so much for your kindness and for also helping me get my creative spark burning as brightly as it possibly can. *Snugs*

Could I share a few ideas since I know the park's structure and it can help you even more to build the story?
Just at the side of the parking lot of the park you can walk across a tunnel to the other side of the avenue with the park is. It is just a short walk, but could be a bit exciting for kids hehe.
The entrance of the park also features some nice things like gift shop, coffee shop and even a high lookout to see a good part of the places from the heights.
The main part of the park is downhill, imagine that the entrance is at the top and downhill are a lot of attractions. You have the option to walk that hill and learn a few things about coffee harvesting and production or directly take the cable car to the bottom and enjoy the mechanical attractions.
The park includes several nature places to visit and enjoy, some traditional places too and you'll have trees and grass on every side the majority of the visit. There is even a curious wood bridge to cross a river.
Between all the attractions that includes the park there are several for kids, like short rides in a small train and other kinds of things like that.
There is an old train which brings you to the other side of the park, it is a small ride where you can see some nature too.
During months of low rains there is a lot of sun in the park and not so much places to walk under the shadow, you'll need some sunscreen for sure if you don't want to be roasted duck :P
And some final details to mention that you may like. As I was mentioning, the park includes separated rooms for diaper changing close to every bathroom and also lockers to save your things while you ride on attractions. And finally my favorite detail of the park. Since a big mountain is in front of you the entire visit, you'll see a kind of sunset at 5 P.M. for the height of the mountain, even if in this country we never see the sun hiding before the 6 P.M. in any time of the year.
I hope those details help you even more with the story Yosh nwn

Hey, Sweetie!
The following is a redone version of the story from Yosh being all excited to be going to The National Coffee Park. I hope that it sounds a lot better and further helps to make the rest of the story a lot of fun to read.
NOTE:
[i]I'm still trying to figure out a good name for the Gecko teen. Any ideas? I also hope that Javier and Rosita are good names for Armin's parents. If you feel anything should be changed, added, or subtracted from any part of the story as I write it, please let me know.
PROLOGUE:
Yosh E. O’Ducky was dreaming sweet dreams as he rode in the car seat that was provided by the rental car service.
“…We need to take lots of photos,” Mrs. O’Ducky said to her husband. “This may be our one and only time to visit outside of North America and Yosh is far too young to remember all of the fun we are about to have.”
“You brought your phone, right?” Mr. O’Ducky asked as he kept his eyes focused on the road in front of him.
The northeastern region of South America was very close to the Earth’s equator. This made the plucky ducky very mindful of the car’s coolant levels and engine temperature. When he wasn’t sneaking quick glances of the gauges of their rental car, the yellow-feathered, middle-aged, ducky daddy was keeping a close eye on the road in front of him. Driving on the opposite side of the road that he was used to from back home made him worry he was going to cause an accident while having to become familiar with kilometers instead of miles made him hypervigilant of all the road signs they passed so that he didn’t miss their turnoff to reach their destination.
Mrs. O’Ducky, who was a green-colored Yoshi, looked back at their sleeping son before joining her husband in keeping a close eye on the road in front of them.
“I just can’t believe we were invited to come all the way down here to celebrate Armin’s birthday,” she said with a smile. “He was only an egg when Javier got offered that job working for The National Coffee Park.”
“Head of tourist relations,” added Mr. O’Ducky with a smile. “Javier always liked his coffee and being offered a job in a java-themed amusement park was the opportunity of a lifetime.”
“It’s also very close to where Rosita’s family lives, too,” Mrs. O’Ducky added. “I wish our families could be as close and caring as theirs are.”
Mr. O’Ducky snuck a peak at their sleeping son before returning his focus on the road ahead of them.
“My cousin, Priscilla, thinks she can get our folks to see that nothing is gained by leaving their grandson and forthcoming granddaughter out of their lives,” he confidently stated.
Mrs. O’Ducky rubbed at her tummy, which was beginning to show a bit of a ‘baby bump’ and cooed.
“That would be wonderful,” she replied. “Yosh is going to be so happy to have a baby sister to grow up with.”
“Gab-gab-gab-gaboo,” moaned Yosh as he began to wake up from his nap in the car.
“Sounds like someone’s up,” stated Mr. O’Ducky. “You sleep well, little buddy?”
“Yeah…,” the groggy dino-duckling replied while rubbing the sleep from his eyes. “We almost at the fun place?”
Mrs. O’Ducky turned back to face her green-and-white colored son.
“You bet your beak, kiddo!” she enthusiastically replied. “We should be meeting up with the Carsons at The National Coffee Park anytime now.”
“GABOO!” quacked Yosh as he raised his hands into the air and began to kick his feet with delight. “I’m so excited!”
Mr. and Mrs. O’Ducky both laughed at how thrilled their son was to be going on this vacation. He may not remember it as he aged from being a toddler to a preschooler, but the pictures they’d take of him playing with little Armin would ensure this once in a lifetime trip would never be forgotten.

The new updated prologue of the story sounds good Yosh. I especially like the mention to the metric system hehe, interesting. I also find it really interesting that the visit is to celebrate Armin's birthday. I'm now wondering how both families meet. What if someone from Yosh family went to study a while in Colombia so they meet Carson's family? I think it would work well.
I don't have any kind of claim with the story, it works really good. About Armin's parents names... hmm I'm not completely sure. They are okay, but Rosita sounds more like a typical Mexican name. Rosa is probably not the most common name here, maybe it is a lot more common Maria. What do you think?

Yay! I was about to submit the next part, which I really hope I did okay in writing and am very open to any and all suggestions to make it better.

What name would you recommend in place of Rosita? Do you think Paulina would be a good name for our teenage gecko girl?
***
My goal in writing the story is to, as best as I can, talk about the highlights you shared with me about The National Coffee Park. I also want to spend a good portion of time discussing the fun Paulina, Yosh, and Armin have on the water rapids ride.
Thanks for all your patience and assistance in making a fun story. Please let me know how i can improve upon it in any way while knowing I wish to show nothing but respect to your part of the world. :)

PART 2:
“….So glad you could make it!” an orange-colored condor stated as he put his yellow-tipped wing upon Mr. O’Ducky’s shoulder. “Rosita and I were worried you’d get yourself lost coming here from the airport.” .
Mr. O’Ducky, who stood nearly two feet shorter than the green-beaked condor, blushed as he continued to walk from the parking lot towards a tunnel that connected the one side of the parking lot to the main entrance.
“Oh, mi el cariño,” Rosita, who was a slightly shorter condor with bright-red feathers, said to her husband. “Was it not you who made us almost miss our flight home over the name of a car?”
“To my defense,” he replied proudly. “The man at the counter gave me keys to a Nova. You’d have to be cuckoo in la cabeza to rent a car that no go.”
Rosita giggled before wrapping her wings around her husband and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
You’ll always be my cuckoo la cabeza,” she teased while tapping one of her bright-blue colored wingtips upon her husband’s cheek.
Mrs. O’Ducky laughed at the way their friends playfully poked fun at each other.
“Aren’t they just silly,” she said to Yosh while looking down at the diapered dino-duckling whose arms and legs were eagerly wiggling within the restraints of his stroller. “Don’t worry, you’ll get to burn up all that energy very soon.”
“Hola, señora O’Ducky,” a yellow-colored gecko greeted as she held the wing of a condor that was about a head taller than Yosh. “First time in South America?”
“sí…,” Mrs. O’Ducky replied nervously as she was far from fluent in Spanish.
“It is okay,” the teenage gecko replied. “I speak English and promise to care for your son as if he were my own.”
“Thank you,” she replied. “I took French since Duckers and I lived so close to the bayou growing up.”
The young condor, who wore only a white, disposable diaper with blue outlines of clouds on it, waved his free wing towards Yosh.
“Hola!” he greeted. “Me llamo Armin.”
Yosh stopped his wiggling about to face the young condor that was merrily trotting alongside him.
“I’m Yosh!” he greeted. “We friends?”
“sí!” replied Armin as he giddily waved his fuchsia-tipped wing and scampered with his orange-colored legs.
“Thanks again for bringing us down here to see The National Coffee Park, Javiar,” stated Mr. O’Ducky as they began to complete their journey through the tunnel. “Are you sure all you need in return is for us to let you know what it is our opinion of the place.”
“Yes, yes, Duckers,” the green-legged condor enthusiastically replied. “It is my job to promote this magnificent amusement park that shows how one of our country’s greatest exports is worth seeing beyond your local grocery store.”
Duckers took in a deep breath through his nose and sighed with how wonderful the scent of freshly ground coffee filled his senses.
“Well,” he said with a smile. “The smell is definitely a lot better than any amusement park I ever visited back home.”
“Glad to hear it!” Javier stated while proudly raising his beak into the air. “Don’t forget to put that in the evaluation forms I will give you at the end of today’s visit.”
“Okay,” Rosita said while looking towards Yosh and Armin. “We are here!”
“YAY!” both boys cheered as they exited the tunnel and headed towards the main gates to officially start their journey into The National Coffee Park.

The second part looks great Yosh. I like so much how is it developing. I'm just a bit confused about the phrases in Spanish you added, what were you trying to tell exactly? Maybe I can help you with that.
Pauline is a great name for the teen gecko, maybe for the mother instead Rosita she could be Maria. What do you think?

Maria would be perfect! I will make that change to Parts 1 and 2 before continuing with the story.

*Blush* I was trying to show both affection and comedy with the Spanish I included. *Deeper Blush* (Why did I take French in High School? Spanish would have been a lot more useful.).
The one, attempted, joke was in regard to a vehicle that an American automaker, Chevrolet, attempted to sell to Spanish-speaking countries. The model of the car was the Chevy Nova. Since Chevrolet did not do any marketing research to learn how "Nova" would translate in Spanish, the car sold poorly since a common translation to "Nova" was "No Go".
***
*Blushes so much that you can no longer see the white of his feather-covered cheeks* I apologize for having not done so good with putting some Spanish into the story. I can edit that part to read without the attempts at Spanish. *Looks towards the ground and nervously scrapes his foot against the ground* I apologize for my lack of knowledge towards the language and hope I did not seem offensive in my effort to try and include it in the story.

Hehe it is okay Yosh. It's not your fault if you have troubles with other language and I'm not going to make you feel bad or feel myself offended because of that, don't worry. Besides, You did a great job so far and the story is looking great already.
I just didn't understand what you wanted to say with this phrase: "“Oh, mi el cariño,”. Maybe you were trying to say something like "Oh dear"?. If you tell me exactly which was the phrase I can help you out nwn

*Blush* You are 100% right. It was meant to be "Oh, dear" in a showing of love / endearment towards each other. (I never realized just how many 'special characters' are needed to make proper pronounciation for words in Spanish. The only one I can make on my own is the é, which is done by allowing the [NUMBER LOCK] to be turned on for the keyboard's number pad. You then have to hold down the [ALT] key as you press 0, 2, 3, 3 before releasing the [ALT] key to make the é.).
A fun fact about using screen reading software is that you get more shortcut keys by having the [NUMBER LOCK] turned off. This is because the Number Pad is used to activate a large number of [HOT KEYS] / [QUICK KEYS] for navigating around your computer. (For example, Num Pad 0 +2 will tell the screen-reading software to read all it can from left-to-right and top-to-bottom from where you last placed the cursor.).
***
Thanks for knowing that I did try to add some Spanish into the story. I never want to seem like the ignorant American that I know I, at times, must come off as. Going forward, I will write the story as I would normally write the story. If you see some spots where we can add some of your native language, please let me know and I'll happily make the edits while learning more of how to speak Spanish, too. :)

It's okay Yosh. Don't worry. The phrase "Oh dear" in Spanish would be better translated like "Oh cielos!".
I think if you want you can sometimes translate the word "coffee" which in Spanish is simply "café". I don't think anything else in the story requires to be written in Spanish. However, if you need help with that just tell me :)
Can't wait to keep reading the story.

Hey, Sweetie!
I fixed PART 1 and created PART 2. (So far, the story has gone through the tunnel entrance and is now getting to where Pauline will be taking the kids to play on the rides while Javier & Maria show off all the interesting, historical / educational sites that could be missed by taking the cable car down the mountain.).
I hope that I am doing a good job with the story and, most importantly, making it worth your time to read. Please let me know if I need to make any other changes to ensure the story is as enjoyable and respectful to The National Coffee Park as it possibly can be. :)
PART 1:
“….So glad you could make it!” an orange-colored condor stated as he put his yellow-tipped wing upon Mr. O’Ducky’s shoulder. “Maria and I were worried you’d get yourself lost coming here from the airport.” .
Mr. O’Ducky, who stood nearly two feet shorter than the green-beaked condor, blushed as he continued to walk from the parking lot towards a tunnel that connected the one side of the parking lot to the main entrance.
“Javier,” Maria, who was a slightly shorter condor with bright-red feathers, said to her husband. “You promised to not tease our North American friends. Especially since it was they who graciously welcomed us into their home when we were expecting our precious Armin.”
Javier gave his wife a smile before, yet again, placing his wing upon Mr. O’Ducky shoulder.
“I apologize for my rudeness,” he replied with a laugh. “It is not often we get tourists we actually are happy to welcome to our country.”
Maria giggled before wrapping her wings around her husband and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Is that not why we invited Duckers, Mellony, and their baby boy to spend the week with us?” Maria stated with a smile. “You are responsible for increasing foreign tourism to The National Coffee Park. What better way to understand how North Americans can be encouraged to visit than by opening our home to those who were so kind to us while we finished our graduate studies.”
Javier laughed as he patted his large wing upon Duckers’ head.
“You and your wife are truly one in a million,” he stated. “Rest assured we are glad to have you here as our friends along with to help us in our study for the ministry in how we can bring more foreigners, like yourself, to our country.”
***
Mrs. O’Ducky felt flustered over all the kind words their condor friends were saying about her and her husband.
“Please do not worry about your ability to speak Spanish,” the teenage gecko replied. “English is my second language. I learned it to pursue my dream of attending a prestigious, North American university to study pediatrics. I wish to do nothing more than to return here to my country as a certified pediatrician who can provide the highest level of care to children, like Armin.”
“That is such a wonderful goal to pursue,” Mrs. O’Ducky complimented. “I’m sure children, like Armin, will be in great care once you achieve your dream.”
“Yes,” the teenage gecko in the red blouse replied. “I also apologize for having not introduced myself sooner. My name is Pauline Reina.”
“Pleased to meet you, Pauline,” she replied with a smile before looking down towards the green-and-white colored dino-duckling in the stroller she was pushing. “My name is Mellony O’Ducky and this is our son Yosh.”
The young condor, who wore only a white, disposable diaper with blue outlines of clouds on it, waved his free wing towards Yosh.
“Hello!” he enthusiastically greeted. “I Armin Carson! Me mama is Maria and papa is Javier!”

“Are you sure all you need in return is our opinion of our experience at the park?”

PART 2:
“I still can’t believe how good it smells,” remarked Duckers as he took another big sniff through his beak. “Hot days, like this, usually always make the theme parks I’ve visited smell like you’re walking into a landfill.”
Javier smiled as he gestured a wing towards a grouping of gift shops.
“Maria and I did not get to visit one of your amusement parks during our stay,” he stated. “I shall take you at your word of how they smell on a hot day as praise for how well we maintain the cleanliness of The National Coffee Park.”
The middle-aged, duck father smiled as he admired all the shops that were open for business.
“I could spend a whole day just enjoying what all these shops have to offer,” he said.

Mellony nudged Yosh’s stroller against her husband’s leg.
“You wouldn’t be trying to get out of going on the rides?” she playfully teased. “I doubt your son would be happy if all we did was keep him stuck in his stroller while you went searching for souvenirs.”

“Go, go, go!” cried Armin as he tried to run off towards the nearby cable car. “Ride, ride, ride!”
“Armin is ready to enjoy the rides,” stated Pauline as she kept a firm hold upon the young condor’s wing. “I think Yosh feels the same way as Armin does, too.”
“I have an idea,” Javier stated as he noticed Yosh trying to pull himself out of the stroller. “The cable car is what you call a shortcut to the amusement park rides here at The National Coffee Park. If you approve, Pauline can take Yosh and Armin directly to the amusement rides using the cable car while Maria and I guide you through our more scenic and historical attractions.”
Mellony, who was a green-colored Yoshi, looked towards her squirming son before facing towards Pauline and Armin as the young condor ran circles around the teenaged gecko.
“I would be honored,” Pauline answered while facing towards the worried mother of Yosh. “I am typically responsible for my three younger brothers and sister back home. Armin and Yosh will be no trouble in comparison to my siblings.”
“Why not,” Duckers encouraged as he bent himself over to start unhooking Yosh from his stroller. “It’s been a long time since we got to do some grownup stuff together. It would also be nice to take some time to catch up with Javier and Maria since we last saw them over three years ago.”
Mellony looked worried about making such an important choice. Yosh could be quite the handful when he was well rested and eager to move his little feet wherever he could possibly get them off to.
“Looks like someone may need a new diaper before we get on the rides,” remarked Pauline as she took hold of Yosh’s hand. “Some of the best changing stations for families with diaper dependant children can be found around where the amusement park rides are located.
Mellony appeared surprised at how quickly the gecko girl caught on to her son’s need for a fresh diaper. Yosh had drank a lot before they started on the 2.5 hour drive from the airport to The National Coffee Park. It was for this reason that she put one of his overnight diapers on him prior to fastening him into their rental car’s car seat. These normally didn’t show how much wetness was locked inside from a color changing perspective, but Pauline could see how the dino-duckling’s diaper was more than showing the tell tale droop and wobble between his chubby legs.
“If it helps,” added Maria as she brought a mobile phone over to Pauline. “We can always call and check on how everything is going with our niños by using Javier’s phone to call the mobile phone I just gave to Pauline.”
“I also know Javier’s mobile phone number,” added Pauline. “I will call you if Yosh, or Armin, are in need of their loving parents.”
Duckers and Javier gave hopeful looks towards Mellony as Maria tried to keep a more neutral expression. Being a mother was a tough job and trusting anyone else with the welfare of your children was never easy.
“Oh,” the green-colored Yoshi said while removing the diaper bag she had brought for Yosh. “Can I give you a few things to help you care for my little duck-butt before you take the boys down the mountain?”
“Of course, señora,” the gecko teen replied. “What kind of pediatrician would I be if I did not listen to the needs of those parents who entrust the care of their children to me?”
“You can also use what is in Armin’s diaper bag if Yosh needs anything,” Maria stated. “I still remember what a beautiful egg your Yosh was when our Armin was but an egg himself.”

Hello, Sweetie!
We are just about to get on the whitewater rafting ride! I hope you enjoy this section that helps lead us into the adventure that you have illustrated above...
PART 3:
While Yosh’s parents enjoyed the scenic view of The National Coffee Park with the Carsons from atop the hill, Pauline was hard at work making sure that both boys were in fresh diapers, covered from head-to-toe in sunscreen, and excited about the adventures they were going to have taking in the park’s attractions.

“You are always such a good boy, Armin,” the babysitting gecko stated as she finished taping a fresh diaper around his waist. “And you look magnifico with your special collar, too.”
“What about me?” asked Yosh as he got up on his tippy-toes and stared with hopeful eyes towards Pauline.

“EEp!” the dino-duckling squeaked as the yellow-colored gecko put a drop of sunscreen on her finger and booped Yosh’s beak.
“You are a cutie of a patootie, too, little ducky,” she giggled as she watched the green-and-white colored kiddo attempt to wipe off the glob of sunscreen from his beak. However, he still had a noticeable patch of blue-colored goo that just would not come off.
“Hee!” Armin laughed as he watched Yosh wildly wipe at his beak. “You silly!”
“You are both silly niños,” she remarked before tickling at Armin’s tummy, which made him let out a burst of laughter as his yellow-colored, chicken-like legs did a dance that went along with his wings trying to block Pauline from giving him the giggles. “Now each of you take hold of my hands.”

Yosh took Pauline’s right hand as Armin decided to go with her left hand.
“bueno, niños!” she stated with enough enthusiasm to encourage both boys to continue to do as they were instructed while with her in the park. “Let us find some fun rides to enjoy together.”
“Yay!” Yosh and Armin cheered as they each held on to one of Pauline’s hands as they moved at varying speeds and from side-to-side with excitement at what fun was about to come.
***
Since the boys were full of energy, Pauline thought it best to start them off on rides that would help to make them a bit less rowdy. Fortunately, The National Coffee Park had no shortage of toddler-friendly entertainment that allowed both children to shout, laugh, wiggle, and giggle to their little hearts’ content.
***
As the teenage gecko noticed Yosh and Armin starting to move less wildly while holding on to her hands, she thought it would now be the perfect time to take them on the train rides.
***
While on the old train ride, Armin and Yosh looked with awe and amazement at other park attractions, the beautifully kept landscaping, and those regions that still maintained areas of natural habitat where local wildlife flourished.
“I’m so glad the Carsons have such faith in me,” thought Pauline as she relaxed in her seat on the train. Both boys were safely fastened into their seats and were too caught up in all the sights and sounds of the train and the path it followed to get themselves up to any mischief. “Their belief in me makes me believe that, like them, I can pursue an education abroad to help children here as a qualified and caring pediatrician.”
***
It was after the train ride that Pauline got a call on the phone that Maria had given to her. They wanted her to bring the boys back up the hill to enjoy the beautiful sunset that would be taking place at around 5:00 PM from the designated lookout point. As it was approximately 4:00 PM, Pauline felt there was time for one more ride. A ride that she had been looking forward to taking since she and the Carsons had arrived at The National Coffee Park earlier that day. With a wide smile, she took hold of Armin and Yosh’s hands and eagerly trotted off towards the whitewater rafting ride.

Hey, Sweetie!
Here is PART 4 of the story. This is the part of the story that uses the picture you drew above. Please let me know if it needs any changes to make it better. :)
PART 4:
“No need diaper change,” stated Yosh as Pauline brought him and Armin into a room that had a collection of lockers lined up on each side of the wall.
KA-KLUNK!
SCHWICK!
The teenage gecko opened one of these lockers to toss in the diaper bag she had been carrying.
SCREECH-SLAM!
“Your diapers are okay,” she said while doing a quick check of both boys’ protective padding that proved that any wetness they had made themselves was very little and nothing to worry about. “I just had to put the diaper bag into the locker before we got on to our final ride of the day.”
“Final ride?” wondered Armin. “No more rides?”
Yosh, who was starting to feel ready for another nap after all the excitement of the day, let out a wide-beaked yawn.
“Oh, niños,” she said as she grew an ear-to-ear smile. “You are both going to really enjoy this next ride.”
***
“Ooh…,” awed Yosh as he noticed the slowly-spinning rafts that were making their way through the watery paths of the ride in which they were in line to get on. “Water ride look fun!”
Armin let out a playful chirp before booping Yosh on the nose with his hot-pink colored wingtips.
“Best ride!” he announced. “Makes you wet!”
“Wet…?” wondered the naïve, dino-duckling. “How ride make me wet?”
“Is this your first time on such a ride, Yosh?” asked Pauline.
“No,” the green-and-white colored toddler tried to reply confidently. “I like water and being in water and playing in water and-”
CLASP
“-Shh,” said Armin as he wrapped his feathered hand around Yosh’s beak. “Being too loud.”
Pauline, who was still dressed in her red blouse and blue jeans, could not help but to laugh at how Armin took charge of getting their young friend to stop his nonstop quacking.
“NEXT!” the staff member who was running the ride cried out.
“That is us!” cheered Pauline as she took the hands of each child in her care. “Get ready for a wet and wild good time!”
***
“Hehe,” giggled Yosh as he enjoyed the feel of the water inside of the raft they had been assigned to ride. “I like this ride.”
Pauline looked to Armin who appeared as if he was ready to start dancing for how excited he was to be on the whitewater rafting ride.
“I should have brought my swimsuit,” she said to herself. “I do have a spare change of clothes in the diaper bag that will do for after we finish our journey on Armin’s favorite ride.”

“Ride getting faster,” stated Yosh as the sound of rushing water started to grow louder-and-louder. “Sound like water falling.”
BONK
THUD-THA-THUD
Armin let out a chirp of anticipation as he felt the raft begin to bounce more-and-more against the canal they were traveling through.
“Hurray!” he cheered as he playfully flapped his wings about. “Ale! Ale! Ale!”
BUMP-SPLISH
SPLASH-BUMP
“We spinning!” quacked Yosh as his attention was turned away from the oncoming waterfall that was perfectly lined up to pour down upon him.
SPLORSH!
“KAZOOTLES!” he shouted as a whole shower’s worth of water fell down upon him like his mother had dumped a bucket over his head to get all the preening shampoo off of his scales and feathers.
“HEE!” laughed Armin after watching his friend get completely soaked by the passing waterfall.
SPISH!
“Madre!” he went on to scream as his laughter was stopped by a surprise burst of water that surged out at him from a nearby fountain. However, his panic was short lived as he started to playfully dance in place within his designated spot on the rotating raft. “Ale! Ale! Ale!”
Pauline couldn’t help but to laugh at the sight of the two boys and how each, despite being the same age, enjoyed the whitewater rafting ride. The waterfall had completely soaked into Yosh’s diaper, which caused the dino-duckling to use one hand to try and hold it up as he covered his eye with his other hand to prepare for the incoming wave of water that his open eye noticed was fast approaching. Meanwhile, Armin was just giddily flapping his wings and excited to see who was getting to get super-soaked next.
KER-SPISH-THUMP
SPLASH!
“Oh!” gasped the gecko as the raft hit another bump in the canal that sent water flying up her back. She then found herself joining Yosh in covering one of her eyes to prevent too much water for blurring her vision.
“Whee!” cheered Armin as the yellow-beaked condor tot seemed to not be able to get enough of the surprise splashes he and his fellow riders were getting. Like Yosh, his diaper was taking on a lot of water, but it didn’t bother him enough to use one of his wings to hold it up. He was far more content enjoying the thrilling ride that Pauline had so kindly took him on for his birthday.
***
When the ride came to an end, everyone on the raft was completely soaked with water.Yosh’s blue, star-printed shirt was clinging to his chest feathers as his diaper now required both of the dino-duckling’s hands in order to not fall to the ground and show those parts of himself that he knew he shouldn’t be showing to anyone except a trusted adult. Armin, having only worn his diaper and his collar, felt wonderful as the warm sun went to work at drying his purple-colored feathers. His diaper was quite wet, but he didn’t get drenched by as many waterfalls in the ride’s canal as Yosh did. As for Pauline, she regretted having not brought a swimming suit with her to use for the ride. However, despite this oversight, she did have changes of clothes for herself, Yosh, and Armin waiting back at the locker room that was just a few steps away from the ride’s exit.

I liked pretty much this part Yosh. It describes a lot of nice things and the ride sounds really accurate to reality hehe. All the details about how soaked where the all three sounds great. I just would add a couple of tiny things to improve it.
The first one is that the staff member should allow them to pass in Spanish. Maybe he could say something simple like "sigan", to indicate the group to get inside the raft.
The other thing that could be interesting and hasn't been considered till now is the temperature. During the dry time of the year, on the park you may find yourself finishing the afternoon in the park with maybe 32°C or 89 °F, so it would be interesting in my opinion if you add to the description how Yosh especially, loved refreshing his feathers with the cold water.
For the rest the story is looking absolutely nice and I'm sure sooner than later you'll be able to submit it completely :)

Thanks for the suggestions, Sweetie! I have made some adjustments to PART 4 and have included them, along with the final part, below.
I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I have. If you feel any adjustments need to be made, I am happy to make them before posting the story in its entirety. (I had a lot of wonderful memories of friends I made who were from all over the world while I wrote this story. It also makes me hopeful to, if it could ever be possible, meet you in person. Having great friends from all different parts of the world is wonderful and I am so glad that you and I can share fun stories and art together as friends.).

“That is us!” cheered Pauline as she took the hands of each child in her care. “Get ready for a wet and wild good time!”
***
“Hehe,” giggled Yosh as he enjoyed the feel of the water inside of the circular raft. The outside temperature was as warm as the warmest of summer days back home for the little, dino-duckling. If Yosh could read a thermometer, he would have seen that it was 32 Celsius, or about 89 Fahrenheit, outside. “I like this ride.”
FSSHHH
A gust of cool, misty air rushed against Pauline as the speed of the raft began to increase.
“I should have brought my swimsuit,” she said to herself. “I am glad I brought a change of clothes in the niños’ diaper bag.”
“Wee!” chirped Armin as he felt the cool mist breeze through his feathers. Unlike Yosh, who appeared to be enjoying how he was able to be cooling himself down on such a hot day, the little condor seemed more ready to start dancing for how excited he was to be on the whitewater rafting ride. This was because, unlike Yosh, Armin was used to the much warmer temperatures of South America compared to those often found in North America. He probably wondered why Yosh was wearing a shirt on such a hot day. However, being a playful toddler, the young condor was more interested in the thrill of the ride he was on than his friend’s choice in clothing.

PART 5:
“Feel so good!” quacked Yosh as he stepped back out into the sun with only his diaper on. Pauline had decided that it would be better for the dino-duckling to let the late afternoon sun dry his scales and feathers than to put another shirt on him. This decision proved very wise as he and Armin both appeared quite happy to enjoy the natural drying powers of the sun on a very hot day.
***
Pauline kept a close hold of Yosh and Armin as they made their way back to the cable car. She felt really good about how well she did with both Armin and Yosh. Seeing how two children from different cultural backgrounds could get along while also trusting and respecting her gave the teenage gecko even more determination to succeed in earning a scholarship to study in North America to become the pediatrician she wanted to be for those young ones who would be in her care when she finished medical school and returned to South America.
***
“Madre!” cheered Armin as he broke free from Pauline’s hold to run towards his red-feathered mother. “Padre!”
“Well, well!” Maria said as she reached her wings down to pick up her incoming son. “Look who is back!”
“Hee!” Armin giggled as his mother lovingly rubbed her beak against his. “So fun!”
Duckers and Mellony had both hoped for a similar greeting from their son, Yosh. However, their dino-duckling was looking quite tired from all of the fun he had with Pauline and Armin.
HEFT
“Here you go,” Pauline said as she lifted up the tired, blue-eyed boy and handed him over to his Yoshi mother. “Thank you for trusting the care of your son to me.”
“You’re quite welcome,” Mellony replied while placing Yosh over her shoulder and allowing him to get into a comfortable position. “What is it that you said you wanted to be when you get older?”
“A pediatrician,” the yellow-colored gecko replied.
CRINKLE-SHUFFLE-CRINKLE
Mellony adjusted Yosh as she supported his head with her left hand and his padded bottom with her right.
“I know you’ll be a great pediatrician,” she assured. “Especially with how well you handled caring for our little guy.”
“Qua-ack…,” yawned Yosh as he allowed his eyes to close from the cozy spot he had gotten himself into over his mother’s shoulder.
“It would seem Yosh is all tired out,” remarked Javier. “You shall have to take a few pictures of the beautiful sunset for him to remember it by.”
Duckers smiled as he held up his phone.
“I’m excited to see Yosh actually being comfortable without wearing a shirt,” he stated. “It can be hard for him to be without his favorite shirt when he is experiencing new things.”
Maria pet Armin upon the top of his head before setting him back down onto the ground and taking hold of his hand.
“It sure does seem like our niños have become as good of friends as we have,” she stated. “It is most sad that we live so far away from each other.”
“Perhaps we can come down and visit you all again someday?” suggested Mellony.
“Or,” added Javier. “We could travel up and research what makes the theme parks of North America successful tourist attractions.”
Maria smiled before taking hold of her husband’s wing and staring towards the setting sun over the large mountain that could be seen overlooking The National Coffee Park.
“I would like that much,” she replied.
“Ale! Ale! Ale!” proclaimed Armin as he started to squirm about what space he could do so within his mother’s grasp.
Yosh had already fallen asleep as Mellony and Duckers turned to join the Carsons and Pauline in looking towards the beautiful sunset.
“You’d all be most welcome to stay with us when you do,” stated Duckers. “That includes you, too, Pauline.”
“I am flattered by your kindness,” the gecko replied. The day may have been coming to an end, but many more fun and exciting days of fun and adventure were sure to come for everyone.
I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I have. If you feel any adjustments need to be made, I am happy to make them before posting the story in its entirety.
Hurray! *Jumps around happily while flapping his arms at his sides* I am very, very happy I did a good job with the story. It was a very important tale for me tell given all the hard work and kindness you showed me towards making an adventure based upon The National Coffee Park.

I will post the story later today, or tomorrow. I will try to split it into two parts so that it can feature both works of art you drew with Yosh and our new characters.

May I ask how much you liked the character development for Armin's family? Would you change anything about Javier, or Maria?
What did you think of Pauline? Much of her character was based after doctors who were completing their residency as I underwent all of my eye surgeries. There were a lot of international residents who would talk about how much they loved the opportunity to learn and how they were eager to return to their home country to benefit their people with their talent and determination. So, for Pauline, I wanted to honor those doctors by creating a character who embodied that goal of wanting to help others through putting forth the extra effort to go abroad, complete their education, and return home to be heroes to friends and loved ones. :)

It sounds perfect Yosh. Dividing the story in two parts will work really well in my opinion.
I liked the character development. Armin was always a kind and adorable creature wanting to be Yosh's friends. Pauline was also really good. She struggled a bit taking care of the kids, but at the end she did a great job. I didn't know she was inspired in doctors you met, it sounds really good. I'm sure she would be a great doctor in the future.
I'll be waiting for your submission to leave my well deserved favorites :)
