
Ever since I started drawing with "quality" in mind (about a decade ago), the process stopped being fun; the learning was slow and painful, the results - stiff and odd. Uneven, even. When it came to doing things "for fun", however, they came out looking somewhat more alive.
Cue to quite literally last week, something clicked and I tried wildly flailing the pen around the tablet surface; lo and behold, promising and lively compositions sprung forth! Namely, everything here on this canvas - save for the sheep dude - was chiseled out from utter scribbles.
Here's to not giving a damn about the so-called proper technique, I suppose.
