A quick sketch describing my overall mood for the day.

In context, I quit my retail job earlier this afternoon. It was a long time coming and I wish it didn’t occur the way it did. But, it did. My own mental health was slipping away with each shift, missed a lot of events and milestones of my friends and family, and my husband could tell visibly that I wasn’t doing well mentally or physically. My body and mind were slowly becoming more like husks. I lost the spark in my eyes that I tried to find each time I saw myself in the mirror.

Now I have all this free time on my hands and my mind is overwhelmed. Thanks to my incredibly supportive and loving husband, things are going to be better for me. I can finally rededicate myself to art and take my life back.

Right now, I just need a couple days long nap, maybe to disassociate for a while, and lots of hugs.
