Nick looked nervous as he drove, checking his map to make sure he's heading the right way. Since they dated a few months now she finally had the idea for him to meet her parents. While he was on board the thought really scared him as he made his way to the house. It was a rather big one to his surprise as it seemed to fit a family of 7 rather than 3. He made his way to the parking lot where he saw Rachel outside waiting for him as she looked a bit exhausted but still lovely. He headed over to her and gave a bit of a blush “ hey there! Just got off work?” he asked, looking at her attire. “Yeah and almost forgot about this sorry!” she replied, which caused him to chuckle “don't worry babe. I've done that too!” after a few awkward minutes the purugly finally sighed and looked to him “ready?” he gulped and nodded “for your mom and dad maybe…..not 100% but yes.”

As she lets him in he's greeted to the sight of an older purugly as big as her daughter wearing a simple dress that did not hide any of her features. She had a look that she seemed so happy for her daughter.to his right was a rather grumpy looking typhlosion who seemed to be studying him up and down. While he seemed chubby with his big gut it was clear to the persian he had more strength than it seems.

Rachel begins to breathe in and exhale slowly as she looks at them. “Mom…dad ... .this is nick…and nick” she says motioning to him. “And nick….this is my mom Madeline and my dad Eric.” Before he could speak,Madelin rushed over and hugged him tight enough to knock all his wind out. He even thought he felt his spine snap, but he did feel a sense of motherly love that made him seem to relax. “Nice…to…….meet…..you…..ma’am……..” he says as he gasps for air, his face turning the hue of an alolan persian. Racheal tapped her mom’s shoulder “ mom! He can’t breathe!” she said as the older purugly purged him. “Sorry, it's so nice to see that my daughter was able to find someone who loved her. I'll go warm up the tea and get dinner ready, rachael can you be a dear and help me?” she asked as Rachel followed her away, leaving the typhlosion and the near asphyxiated persian.

The typhlosion got close to him and chuckles. Looking at him “gotta say you're the first person i've seen of my daughter's many boyfriends who wasn't down for the count after madeline's hug. I mean it's 1 out of 3 so it's not so bad. “ he says as the feline chuckles. “Lets just say my last job had me in situations that squished me in between some big mon so believe me easy to learn not to choke to death ... .still she is something else…. “. The typhlosion laughed as he pats Nick's back. “Heh well i can do worse if you ever. EVER! Make my baby girl unhappy! And if you try to hide I will find ya! “ he says pointing to the badge on the table in the living room, to the persian it's clear as day the typhlosion was a detective.

As dinner went on there were many conversations on how they met and what about the persian they were curious about. Afterward it was time to leave and after another back breaking hug the two left and headed to his car “so what do you think of them” she asked as she saw him popping his back. He turned to her and smirked “great! To be honest I think your mom is part beware. “ she chucked “ didn't you see the family tree? My grandpa is a beware. “ he blinked before chuckling. “So dinner with mine in say…. Three weeks “ he asked as the purugly nods “sure! Cant be so bad as mine. “ she said as he winced before giving her a kiss and leaving. Leaving her confused as she starts her way home
