I turn my head to nod in the direction of their parking spot and turn back. My hair was blocking my face but I'd like to think they saw me for a second.

because as soon as I did this they hurriedly turned to pull into the parking spot.

and I didn't do it on purpose per se but as soon as their headlights were off of me I walked back up the road. I was on the other side of their vehicle before their headlights even went off. By the time I head their door open I was halfway back to my house.

So, had they parked their car, hopped out and looked for the mystery figure in the dark, they wouldn't have seen a thing.

I hope my neighbors spotted a fucking cryptid today
