Me too, but the asymmetry of the exchange is in your favor -- dealing with a ziptie safely takes seconds, but tightening one is the work of less than one. You forced them into a losing exchange, which is strategically sound. (It's also tactically sound not directly confronting a couple of potentially-armed redneck dickheads!)
