Just dishing out another one of my 'This is Why Furries Can't Have Nice Things' comics while I'm in San Diego for the week.

omgz Thats one reason why i belive its best to have your fursona accurately reflect who you are in real life. I applaude people who have a little extra chub on their ref sheets cause thats who they are in real life. I dont ask to have more muscle than what i have in real life, or be 6 foot tall. if you want to be anthro, then great, because its something we cant currently achive in real life. but if your a 300 lb dude, dont try and portray yourself online as a 130lb twink. loosing weight/getting in shape IS something you can change in real life and hard work. if thats how you idealize yourself, if thats TRULY how you want to look, then having yourself draw like a stud will make you content/lazy, and your even less likely to pursue how you would like to be in real life.

A dog looked at me for real like that once, but it could only focus one of its eyes, so it was giving me one big evil eye while staring at the sidewalk simultaneously. It was so good <3

I think it might have been a pug/pekingese cross. It totally had a smooshy face and HUGE bulgy eyes. I've never gotten a more intense look in my life xD
I think only one eye being able to look at me made it like, a superbeam of highly-focused malice.
I don't think he was used to people not being scared of him XD He was pretending to bite me like my old little dog used to, and when I didn't recoil in terror I got the Stare of Death.

It bothers me when I see idealized fursonas, because it means, to me, that that person can't love themselves for the way they are :( I wish everyone could feel comfortable enough to represent themselves accurately, without feeling the need to embellish and 'improve' on it. Or even just remove that bit of chubs they have!

anyways I always think it's hilarious when people are totally different from their fursonas, I mean I don't expect them to look like them in the face since theyre CARTOON ANIMAL PEOPLE but I know plenty of people who have super thin and perfect fursonas when they're gorgeous and big irl. I honestly don't understand why there aren't more true-to-self fursonas when they'd be so much more unique and interesting.

That's why when I first got here, I made my anthro fursona have my same body type. I even got the belly.
People seem to pay more attention to my toony fursona who is very harmless looking. His personality is sweetness turned up to about 12. He's shorter and fatter than I really look.
Look out for all those floating around my head.

I feel bad to say this, but I dun get why some a bit chubby folks have those big titted skinny sonas ; / Makes me confused when I look at RL photos of ehm. My own fursona is based more or less on my own anatomy just a bit more childlike.
