Cover for yet another of my books, Creekside is having a rather troublesome period of young secretaries, all brought in from a single school in the North, suddenly dying or otherwise going missing. Simon Barbers Nancy Rote, home for the season from Songmark, has decided to investigate as she herself had been taken by a rather dastardly group.

As you can see from the image this is set in the mid-to-late 1930's, so trains could be involved (though not this time, at least, not much.) Why would anyone, or thing, be targeting young nubile secretaries at their first employment.
