While Samara is the goddess of the daytime, one might ask if she has a counterpart. And indeed she does. His name is Kialdir (pronounced Ky-all-deer), a Quetzal god who rules the night.
Unlike Samara's friendly appearance and taking the shape of a Para, Kialdir (sometimes shortened to Kiald) takes the form of the mighty Quetzalcoatlus, and he bears resembelance of the night, with his glowing eyes and dark coloration. One may perceive him as a threat at first, but he's rather indifferent towards mortals.
However, he would be more than willing to tease or give someone a scare if he so feels like it. His powers range and vary, but only after dusk is he at his full capability. When the sun comes over the horizon at dawn, his abilities will be greatly reduced as it will be the domain of Samara from then on, but he can still exist in the daytime and freely roam about.
In the day, his notable white eye glow will fade away, revealing his eyes properly, and his star markings also fade away. Once the sun sets, these distinguishing features return from dusk on until dawn the next morning.
He also has an anthro form he, sometimes, uses, but more rarely as his feral form is often perceived as more intimidating, even if his anthro form is about the same in terms of intimdating looks.
Like feral form, his distinguishable features will fade away at dawn, and reappear at dusk.
While all of his powers revolve around shadows and darkness, he doesn't speak of them and often tends to simply use them whenever he wants to and often without many words.
Been working on this fella for a while now since I adopted him waaaaayyyy back. I've been waiting for the right moment to post him, and that moment has come.
Instead of posting three different references, his main, daytime, and anthro ones separately, I decided to do some editing and put them all together in one for simplicity sake xD
