Bwah~ my first try at upload botched. So here is a different church.
Like I said before~ this is a picture I took during my visit back to Charleston, my hometown. A lot of things had changed in the years I had been away. But some things never change.
Good vibes, good food, ans the weight of history pressing all around it all.
I love my home town but I'm ready to sleep on my bed again. I begin the long trip back west today. 13.5 hour drive~

Oh yes! So so many churches! But you aren't wrong. I grew up in a Catholic family, and I will say, that was a 'newer' church, but it still had some class to it. Some churches nowadays just look like... idk, schools, almost. I don't know nothing about architecture so I don't know the words to describe it.
But I digress, yes, many beautiful churches. The next time I go back, I'll try to get more pictures of them all. Familial obligations limited what all I was able to do and see.

Not wrong cause I'm north of Charleston and have been there, lol. I, too, was born in SC.
Yeah, most are your typical American style, or even a few I've seen that's straight-up, just a more recent 21st-century-style architecture with minimalist detail put into it and a sign out front.
Churches have always been of different styles and origins, so to each their own on how you like or see them.
But I hope you get more breathing room to capture them next time, lol, with possibly a few other things like the notorious amount of "abandoned" buildings if they're still there and haven't been built over or demolished.
