Marie Jeanne & Louise grow up together in the suburbs of Paris. Neighbors, the little girls met at the local school and quickly became close. As “best friends in the world”, they shared their curiosity, joys and sorrows for many years in primary school, then in junior high. But as they approached high school, their childlike relationship changed. They became teenagers, and discovered the feeling of love. Slowly, Marie began to feel a particular affection for Jeanne. Jeanne, for her part, developed feelings for Louise, who secretly fell in love with Marie. Tensions arose within the trio and, as they approached the end of high school, everything exploded. The trio split up, and each of them, after graduating from high school, started a new life in a different city. Marie studied medicine in Paris, Jeanne studied physical education in Brittany and Louise went to Strasbourg to study biomechanics. It wasn't until five years later that Jeanne, who had just graduated as a physical educator and was proud of her achievement but too sad not to be able to tell her other halves about it, decided to contact her companions again. Too much time has passed, and she missed their presence by her side. Louise and Marie, surprised at first, agreed, and met in the café where they used to spend their evenings studying when they were much younger. And what a surprise it was for them to discover each other on the doorstep.
They'd had this dream, all of them little girls, of one day becoming members of a wolf clan, and they found themselves facing each other, fully grown, all three of them sporting pointed wolf ears. Individually, without consulting each other, they all three had undergone a biological transition to become semi-humans.
The reunion was an ocean of happiness for the three of them, who had never forgotten each other's laughs. Such was their happiness that they got back in touch, and quickly became the trio they had missed so much. And as they began to talk about everything again, including their most secret desires, Marie, in a conversation by the fire one evening, suggested an idea. A crazy, radical idea, the possibility of which she had learned in class only a few months before, and the veracity of which she still found hard to believe. The idea of becoming,permanently, more than just members of a pack.
They discussed it all night in their tent, and made their decision in the morning. They went into surgery with their school certificates in hand, and woke up closer than they could ever have imagined.
