"The Echoes Beneath the Pyramids"
The throne room of High Sunstone Palace basked in the molten glow of a setting sun, its light spilling across sandstone walls and glinting off gold. At its center lounged Pharaoh Azael, ruler of the Pyramidic Dunes—his tail curled loosely at his side, claws idly tracing the lion’s head carved into his throne. The day had been long, bloated with council debates and offerings, and now silence was his most welcome subject.
Then came the whisper of soft paw pads against marble.
Kal, his high illusionist, entered without need for words. The white-furred mystic, adorned in silks and obsidian charms, moved like smoke, eyes lit with a mischief known only to artists and magicians. He bowed low—not from submission, but from ceremony. They had done this dance before.
Azael’s smirk was subtle, but warm. “Show me something I’ve not yet seen,” he murmured.
With a flourish, Kalcifur raised his hook-staff high. The lights in the chamber seemed to cower, retreating into shadows. Then—brilliance. From the crook of his staff, emerald fire erupted and condensed into spinning illusions: a starry jackal prowling through a sky of ancient glyphs, a serpent coiled in time, a river flowing upward to kiss the moon.
Azael leaned forward, spellbound. The room no longer held stone or breath, only memory and myth brought to life in floating light.
As the final illusion—a dragon with a pair of spectral wings—faded into a puff of glowing smoke, Kal lowered his staff and met his pharaoh’s eyes. There was no applause, only a shared silence filled with reverence and history.
“Still bored, my king?” Kal teased gently.
Azael chuckled, deep and smooth. “No. For the first time today… I am alive.”

I think it's incredible, Kal, and I'm so happy you shared it with us <3 the amount of loving detail - the sheen in Az's scales, the transparent fabric on Kali's outfit, the differences in designs on Az's arm bands, and the cool blur effect on the magic giving it a sense of motion while in a still image, how every piece of jewelry Az is wearing is unique... I could go on about all the little things I notice, but I'll spare you the novel :p All of them though look so fuckin' cool 8)
Amazing :D
