This is a drawing of my fursona and my cat Freya cuddling together.
Freya recently had a bigger surgery. and it was a tough time for both of us.
I made this picture to remember the quiet moments we shared and to show how much she means to me.

It really means a lot.
Freya’s surgery was actually a bit of a surprise for us — she was listed as spayed when we adopted her, but it turned out that the procedure hadn’t been done properly. There were still remnants left behind, and over time they started causing problems. Even though she couldn’t get pregnant, she was still going into heat and was really stressed because of it.
It ended up being a more complicated surgery than expected, but it was necessary for her well-being. She’s been recovering well so far, and I’m just so relieved and proud of her.
