Krystal landed on a planet with two moons, taking a look at the beautiful sky. In this render I was trying to get a similar light setting like in the night scene of Avatar which was not quite easy using a GPU renderer that can't raytrace.
I've decited to put real eyelashes on the new Krystal model instead of the ones that were drawn onto the texture. It especially makes her eyes look a lot more feminine. If you don't like them you'll be able to switch them off, just for the complainers. :P

Oh Wow Man!
I'm not complaining.... :)
That's out-$#&%ing-standing!
(Especially since I was listening to some Mellotron music when I saw this--goose-bump time. ;) )
testement2008: Wow that's great. U planning on make a movie with Krystal?
>That would take a whole team to do, especially since I'm no animation artist at all. Apart from that you'll barely find any people with knowledge in >Maya on the internet.
Indeed...that is the only major problem.
More like a render or server farm would have to be used in order to do a movie, let alone something that lasts about 30 mins. or so. Oh yeah, and a Lot of patience.
A 'Idle Test' (Krystal just standing with minimal face expressions and movement) took about 10 hours to render for 56 seconds of screen time.
You do the math.... :|
(Looks up some notes) ....and that was using a Intel Quad Core 'Sandy Bridge', running at 3.4 Ghz; with 'Turboboosting/Overclock' to 3.8 Ghz. Not counting the video card.
But still....the end result is worth it. :)
