AC 2011 sketches: <<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
This is the third of four sketch commissions I got at Anthrocon 2011 for my music sketchbook, where each drawing illustrates a brief excerpt from the lyrics of a song that I appreciate. I provide a list of quotes to choose from; the scene is up to the artist's imagination.

Do you remember what things looked like when you were young?
I really love how this drawing gently challenges the viewer. One has to study the details and think for a bit to piece together the overall picture, and how all the little things fit in. I find the theme quite touching, with just a hint of bittersweet. Go on; take a good look yourself! :)
Interestingly, this is the first piece in the sketchbook to feature my fursuit character Jake, recognizable by his goggles and bandana. Personally, I find the attention to detail on Jake (and elsewhere) absolutely fantastic.
I originally found this song through another art piece here on FA, namely einhund's suggestive "Hands Remember." (Now moved here under the account
