Thank you very much for visiting. Advanced criticism and professional advice are strongly encouraged.
Firstly, I’d like to apologize for a lack of recent content. I’ve hit a creative slump due to exhaustion from irregular lawn work and other personal and professional factors. I’ve also been busy writing code for my website, but I have little to show for my efforts. As it is, I’ve recently been inspired to engage in a project that will demand many man hours and presents a close deadline. I hope to complete this project by the deadline and I further hope to refine my disciplines to have more content to show for my supporters. Please understand that my first priorities are to my own website and not Fur Affinity, but I am not going to disregard the positive support that I’ve gotten here and I will try to work on producing the occasional content for your entertainment. As always, thank you for your continued support.
The image featured in this submission is a rendering of an Alias Maya scene. The main feature of this scene is a model of the 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System that was originally constructed in AutoCAD through solid modeling techniques. The Nintendo Entertainment System was an 8-bit video game console which hosted video games such as Mega Man, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania. The console sported two ports for handheld controllers, nodes for audio and video output, and a front-loading tray for inserting game cartridges.
This is the third edition of renderings of this model. The most significant change in this edition of renderings is that they are now being rendered in Alias Maya as opposed to AutoCAD. Glitches that emerged in the second edition of renderings forced me to realize that AutoCAD’s rendering tools are insufficient for producing quality images. The AutoCAD model of the Nintendo was imported into Maya for this series of renderings.
The towers that can be seen in the background were constructed from scratch in Maya. The array of screens exists in a group node that can rotate about the main tower, allowing different screenshots to be visible in different renderings. In this batch of renderings, I have noted an error that I committed that negatively affects the screenshots surrounding the two towers in the further background. I’m largely aware of what I did wrong and will be weary not to make the same error in the future.
This series of renderings was mostly executed as a test of the effectiveness of rendering this model in Alias Maya. I am also experimenting with mental ray materials and lighting effects in hopes of creating more realistic-looking renderings. The reflective material that I utilize for the platform that the Nintendo is resting on looks quite spectacular to me, but its inclusion does egregiously increase render times.
This is one of ten renderings that I have produced of this model’s edition. Eventually, all ten renderings will be posted to my website. I am still working on building more of the console’s interior parts in AutoCAD as well as refining those that already exist. As I work with Maya more, I hope to become more familiar with its rendering capabilities and produce more impressive graphics in the future.
Again, thank you for the visit and have a safe and wonderful day.

Ah, there's a very simple answer to your question: I'm colorblind and I wouldn't know any better. If you're telling me that the front console light is actually red, I will certainly try to correct my mistake in future editions of this model.
I'm glad you enjoyed the model and I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for visiting!
