Arrived here after seeing "The Chilton manual for a Suburban is a better love story than Twilight." As a fellow car person, I of course immediately entered stalk mode, expecting to have to figure out if you were hot or not from posted commissions/info/general disclosed identity, the whole nine yards, like some kind of data-aggregating rain man.
And then I immediately see this on the front page and I'm like "well that was easy" *blink blink* "DAMN!"
Over here giving Mr.Regular a run for his money in the "dudes I don't know over 30" crowd. References aside, your character fits super well. Good job.

Heh, no problem. I am but a simple man; I see hot boi, I say nice things.
And that sounds like fun. Thank fuck it's just the sensor. I get to replace the clutch master and stater in my Honda, and hopefully that's all /it/ needs, but my Q45's engine is shot after the third overheat from radiators shattering...YAAAAAAY *fellates gun*

Bummer on the Q45, every sensor cable, plug, vacuum line, and cover shroud was a standard feature on that thing. A Tour de Force I believe they called it.
Sadly the sending unit wasn't the issue with the truck, now it goes back to the dealer to troubleshoot the new crate engine I had installed last summer. *table flip* At least the sensor is new... too...

It was a special car for sure, if that's what you meant. Definitely a lot of fun, and vastly underrated. Scared a few of my friends with how quick it actually was. :) Or at least my 91 was, before the mid-gen refresh to make it more bland like the other boats, when they slowed up the steering, removed the seat bolstering so fatties could get in, added tacky wood trim, wallowed the suspension...list goes on.
Now I'm at the point of "fuck it" and shopping for LS430s. Because if it has to be bland, it may as well be fancy and bland. And maybe it could be fun too with an unrealistic and frankly insane amount of work.
Sucks that your crate engine is giving you shit, though. I've always daydreamed about putting one of those in something...maybe if I lose it completely I'll think about figuring out how to do that to my Q.
