This is a c-c-c-combo breaker in the flood of dungeon crawl images, but I wanted to show everyone that Tidus is recovering well from his surgery. (Those of you who don't know, he was neutered so he can eventually cohabitate with the girls in my main cage. He'll need 4-6 weeks to heal (and for the bullets to empty from the chamber, wink wink nudge nudge) but he's recovering fine. He had a rousing bout of hand wrestling with me and is getting lots of cuddles and treats. The thing he possessively has his paw on is called a Kraker and is basically a stick with treats on it.

Although not an albino, Tidus has the ruby eyes that happen in rats from time to time. It means his eyesight isn't as good as it would be for a normal rat, but he can still hear and smell and navigate just fine. He is a dumbo eared mink blaze male, and so far has shown himself to be the mellowest cuddlebug I've ever owned. Most males I get are skittish and/or stupid, but Tidus so far acts like a male rat is 'supposed' to act in that he's calm and mellow. (All rats have distinct personalities and you never know what you'll end up with)

So here he is, and he's doing fine.
