My best friend sent me a container of peach iced tea powder a few years ago, not knowing that I didn't like lemon iced tea made from powder, but I decided I'd humour him and have a glass of peach iced tea anyway. Loved it a lot, but I couldn't find the powder in town. Every time I visit the States, I make sure to bring back a few containers of the powder. Peach iced tea in liquid form can be found in town, but you really have to hunt for it.

Oh, and the inclusion of 'clean getaway' is just the recycling of a very old pun. *Pyrrs innocently.*

come to think of it you never did tell us why the racoon smelledof peaches. Oh... and Arizona Iced tea has a wonderful peach flavor in this huge 32 oz can.

If I write anything further with the characters, maybe I'll state for sure whether it was peach-smelling fur shampoo or not. ;)

I think it was partly because of my own fruitless (no pun intended) search for peach tea back when the story was written. Since then I've found a few sources in town, but peach tea still is very much a rare commodity here, and I notice that whenever I locate a new source, it's all gone within a few days.

I don't know if you'll believe me or not, but I have never watched a noir film in my life. I figure I'll rent a bunch of them before I tackle a seriously noir story, so that I can get the feel exactly right.

That was good and funny. I liked how the Cop's cynical personality was very apparent.

Funny. Entertaining, in its own way. I like the "slice of life" style in this story, the main character just rambles about the mishappenings he had. Great little story.
