Gourd Elephant Phase 3 - Kitty approves
I'll be uploading 3 pics of it...just too many photos. XD
My life sized gourd baby elephant is totally sculpted now!
Here's my supply tally:
Around 40 pounds of air drying clay
Two bottles of super glue (fixing cracks)
Pair of glass eyes
Sheets of wire mesh for the ears (and screws to put them in place)
23 gourds
6 rolls of masking tape
about 100 full sheets of blank newsprint (body bulking)
Epoxy adhesives for the gourds and 3 dowel rods for internal support
Wire to attach jaw
And my new cat approves. Yeah, another new cat...she just kinda showed up. My kitty now <3

also in an odd story my first cat was the same, she just walked into our house so we adopted her! XD She was dewclaw and all that so we just kept her clean and took care of her. She stayed for about 2 months but kept wanting to leave so we let her. ;3; i miss her some but that was like about 7 years ago ^!^'

I know D: I would personally charge at least twice what you quoted based on the scale, detail, and time put into this, though. I hope you advertise your work in places other than here, if this is the way you make your living. Both your 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional work is of gallery quality.
