By-the-hour commission for Utunu of his African Wild Dog character! This one presented more of a challenge than I anticipated. I spent more time on it than I thought I would. However, I had a BLAST working in those spotty markings, getting them to look like the coat of an African Hunting Dog, and compliment his body shape as well. Super fun one!

I meant to say more substantively: your dynamic pose and perspective here is most excellent and you should be encouraged in every way to continue your work as it is an inspiration and technically outstanding. I could provide constructive criticism but it is rarely well received in this environment. Cheers! :D
Hmm.... maybe it's just me but the background isn't really meshing well with the character. I think it's because a lot of the same colors and saturation is shared by both, so the character doesn't really stand out. But that's really my only complaint. Overall, an absolutely phenomenal piece, as usual. This character features a great action pose, and a very intense expression. I love how you even captured the subtle movements of the character's jewelery and chest fur as he's preparing to toss his weapon. Lovely job on the perspective... that far hand holding the spear is a tough one to nail down just right. Also this is just a personal observation, but kind of wish that some areas weren't so high-contrast... I feel as though we're loosing a bit of the detail in the paw closest to the camera.
