Nikki the bat, out at night by the light of the full moon...
I figured with Halloween coming up, I'd do something special =). This is wallpaper sized (1024 x 769... okay, I was a pixel off) - and I tried to format it in such a way that it would look good as a desktop background... (provided that you don't have too many icons ^.^)
And it had been far too long since I'd drawn a bat.
Acrylics on 9"x12" bristol board.

Ah, my favorite animal in all the world. ^^ Kudos for choosing a specific species and depicting it accurately. I love that! I'm tired of the cartoony stuff where the bat is just a vaguely defined amalgamation. (Wings detached from the arms always ticks me off. If the bat's wings are detached, the it is NOT a bat. It's just a monster or a demon or something.)
