Okay first and foremost we are starting the stopwatch to see how long this actually stays on FurAffinity if this is not taken as the total JOKE it was meant to be.
Yes this was made as a parody from the Portal song Still Alive.
The ENTIRE reason this song was made was because of all the talk up about the new servers and how much faster the site would be running and how wonderful things would be and then BAM!!! Offline for two days. So that in sheer definition deserved a song to fuck with FurAffinity.

Well if you really want to take this one on stride. Why not be proud that someone actually wrote a song about the site and drop a link on the front page? How many other chances are you going to have to have your very own music? Only recorded it this morning and I've already had a few mailing lists as well as four or five online radio stations playing it. So roughly .... 5,000 have heard it in the past 12 hours. Would be a nice gesture to show you can take a punch and still smile about it.
Recording stuff? All I use is my computer, a Radio Shack Microphone and Acid 5.0 ... I'll blow a couple of hundred on equipment if I really want to get serious about doing this. For now it's just for fun to take playful shots at different things every so often. I am glad that Dragoneer took this well just like Uncle Kage and 2 and Nexxus and Wookiee and the fursuiters and every raccoon in the fandom .... DAMN I have fucked with alot of people. Why am I not like banned from a con or something? LOL
I am very picky about the linking rhymes I use. I don't want to rhyme words for rhe sake of rhyming them. They have to be consistent and make sense as you go or else it won't work. I also like to have my music match the actual song in some places if even for a word or two. The last verse for example matches Still Alive in several places. For example below you will see in parentheses where the two songs match. I find it adds a bit to the songs when I can twist the actual lyrics into something different. It's a challenge and has sort of become my signature.
