Farewell to BDH...pa rum pum pum pum

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
To borrow from a tradition of the "Tribe", I'm going to commit the Saga to the flames along with any regrets and revisions. I'll refer to some of the storyline in its G-rated modern day sequel, but I won't be posting it here. Along with that, before the 25th of this month, I'll be trimming this page to the bones and won't be around much. To be honest, I don't need the temptations. When I do have something of the sequel to show, I will put a link here for you to look, if you want.
So, two reflections: First, this is a sacrifice for me, but one I want to make. Second, like the little drummer boy (lyrics below), this has been the drum I've been beating for a long while and it's my gift to the new born King 😇
That's all!! pa rum pum pum pum:)
From Psalm 51
For in sacrifice you take no delight,
burnt offering from me you would refuse,
my sacrifice, a contrite spirit.
A humbled, contrite heart you will not spurn.

Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,
So to honor Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
When we come.
Baby Jesu, pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
That's fit to give the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,
Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum,
On my drum?
Mary nodded, pa rum pum pum pum
The ox and lamb kept time, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my drum for Him, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,
Then He smiled at me, pa rum pum pum pum
Me and my drum.
p.s. If I commissioned you, keep the money or donate it to charity. Your call, no need to tell me.

The Drummer Boy is my favorite Christmas Song.
