I'm pretty sure people would love to pay for your art, especially the way you draw critters. I'd say, give it a try and see what works out. Maybe start with a small list (like 3 slots tops) and if it works out the way you have it planned, go from there. :3

Your style is always so fun and adorable, whatever situation you put the characters in, that I imagine I'm not alone in wishing to commission you if available. ^_^

If you're worried about losing the enjoyment of doing art, be sure to start small; only taking a couple of commissions at a time and then do some personal art in between. You can also consider making a couple of YCHs, where you set the look and theme as something you want to draw, but sell the slot(s) for the character(s) involved. This way, it will be something you want to draw, while also having the fun of putting other characters into scene.
