I still have a small four-legged Scooby toy from the early 80s, and I remember that Dynomutt costume vividly. Wish I could have seen more of them there!

I am quite fond of these costumes. I'm surprised even Dynomutt has a costume.

I also like Tokusatsu, which is Japanese for any live action movie or TV show with tons of practical effects and yes, costumes and suits are involved there too. Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Garo, you name it!

Some of those costumes were also at Kings Dominion when I was going there as a kid. Ah, memories.

Ahhh, I saw the Huckleberry Hound character I used to wear when I worked there in the early 1980's. Would have been crazy if one of the photos of him was with me wearing him.

I was just talking about these on my Toon Furs Discord Server (which you should totally check out…), some of my earliest memories was visiting King’s Island and riding all of the old Hanna-Barbera themed rides and meeting Scooby-Doo. The next time my family visited, the theme park had re-themed their kid’s section to NickToons and I was super disappointed, but at least they’ve kept the Scooby-Doo dark ride. So glad someone took the time to upload and archive these photos
