I'm betting that you were wondering if this group was just dead. Well, it was, but not deliberately. I had some really severe health problems that deteriorated rapidly and ended with me having major surgery. I'm happy to say I'm feeling a lot better now and even get to go back to work, though I'm less thrilled about *that* part. ;)

Anyway, for those wondering, the BootedFurs / LeatherFurs site will hopefully be back. The challenge is finding a social networking software that doesn't suck. Our old software was an absolute nightmare, and we can't go with any of the hosted solutions because they all ban adult content. (And, well, since a number of our members have a fetish interest in boots and leather, we do wish to accommodate that -- which means either hosting on our own server, or finding a hosted service that actually allows adult content.)

The other thing of course, is that I'd love to gauge demand. Now that I've started my Master's Degree program, I really don't want to waste extensive amounts of time to only find that 8 people are going to be active on the site. I'd love to hear feedback below as to whether folks are interested in the site, what you'd like to see, and so on.
