Just giving you all a heads up. My dog, Elsa, has passed away today at the Emergency Vet.
Wednesday after I got back from Furpoc, she was acting weird. Did not eat her breakfast, and when I took her on a walk, she only wanted to walk AWAY from the house, not toward. She refused to go back to the house, and back in the house. I found that very weird. She was wanting to go to streams, for some reason. I didn't know what was up.
She didn't eat ever again, no matter what I did. I brought her to the vet, we tried to get her to eat, nope. Nothing. Sunday, things were REAL bad, brought her into the Emergency vet clinic, they ran a lot of tests on her... I was there for 12 hours. They found HIGH calcium in her blood, and that her kidney function was down to less than 25%. And the AMOUNT of calcium pointed to cancer or something else.
So we started searching, X-Rays, no results, and ultrasound needed a specialist. So this morning, I brought her to the E.R. at a place that has ultrasound specialists... Elsa was so bad I had to carry her everywhere. They got her on I.V. and it seemed to be getting better... until the Ultrasound.
On her way to the ultrasound, her heart stopped. They were unable to re-start it after 15 min of trying. It was over, my dog had passed away.
I will cherish the memories I had with her, I raised her from a little puppy all the way to now. She will be missed. She is getting a private cremation and her ashes sent to me. I will have a shelf in my house dedicated to her.

At least she got to be with her favorite person, you, before she passed away. Feel free to text or call me. Keelah has my cellphone number.
Cherish those good times. Relax knowing you gave them a life nobody else could have.
