The long-awaited update!
Hey there, all! Long time! I don't think I've made a journal in over 3 years... Good lord. SO! This is just a little update, to let y'all know what's been up with me!
So! In the past 3 years, a -lot- has changed. After my father died, I was lucky enough to be accepted to the hospital I applied to first, one that lives right near my new home! My mother and I were in the process of moving when my father passed away, in hopes of finding a good place for my father to live when he made it out of the hospital. However, even though he passed, the place my mother and I found, a condominium complex, felt perfect. I have my own 1-bedroom condo, complete with 1 1/2 baths, a kitchen, laundry room, and all. I'm extremely happy with how my house has turned out! And as luck would have it, my house is about a 2-3 minute drive away from my new job as a Phlebotomist in a hospital!
Earlier this year, my Grandmother passed away at 90. She was... a wonderful person, and possibly the greatest woman to exist, beyond my own mother. However, she has proven herself even moreso in death, as, in her will, she left me with enough money to completely pay off my home, buy a new car, and have a little left over to give me the opportunity to create a Roth IRA. I am now 29, with a fully-paid off home, a fully paid off car, no student debt, my own phone service, -and- a stable job and income. I'm extremely proud of myself for getting to this place, even if I had plenty of help from my family. <3
And on a final note, the absolute love of my life,
kitath came to visit earlier this year, and hopefully by early next year, he'll be permanantly moving in with me! I'm so excited~!
So! On to non-IRL news. I'm going to be deleting my entire FA gallery, and re-uploading the pictures I feel are important, or are the ones I want shared. I just want a good place to share my art, and while Inkbunny feels like a great place, this one feels a bit more... populated, so I want to get my art out there. I'll be crediting every artist that drew for me, of course!
And, on a final note, thank you all, every single one of you, who has supported me throughout thick and thin. Supported my art I've commissioned, and been a good friend throughout all the turmoil. Thank you all so much, and here's to many more years of great art, great friends, and great booty! :D

So sorry about your father and grandmother. I lost my Step Grandfather too and got to his memorial.
