My surgery went well (Dec 18th), but my recovery has been very rough. So much pain. I have never felt such pain. Unable to do anything. Having to rely completely on my husband for days (the poor but oh so amazing and wonderful man). Unable to really eat and suffering from the results of no food. Small fever and mild infection.

This has been an extremely rough road to travel. I do not regret the decision to take away my reproductive organs, only my inability to recover from the trauma of the surgery.

Some wanted to know how I was faring so I thought I would make a journal letting you know I am indeed recovering but it is taking a really long time and the journey is remarkably painful.
