It was a simple plan, at least on paper, in practice it turned out to be a whole lot more complicated. Understanding magic was difficult, Cody had his technology, which he was like magic.. or so he was told by some who had never seen such highly advanced technology, but actual magic? That was on a scale he couldn't really understand.
However, as luck would have it, the Technimal fox ran into Erakir, an Ivalician Moogle who was a lot more adept in magic than Cody himself.
The two worked it out together, attempting to figure out how to work magic into this technology. For storage, analysis to understand and potential later use.
A Technimal with the ability to use magic? That was an experiment Cody was just happy to try and figure out!
Even if there were some concerns if it was actually going to work, Erakir's confident reassurence of a simple gesture akin to a simple 'It's gonna be just fine' was enough to give Cody enough confidence with this, too!
And so they started experimenting.. linked with the cube, Cody kept a watchful eye on the state of his cube-shaped magic storage device while Erakir let magic sink into the nanite-based piece of technology.

This was a fun thing to work on! Very experimental and way too ambitious, but I did it! Wanted to play with this concept, so I did! I made a TF sequence and had a fun time with it! There might be some inconsistencies but I tried not to hang myself up too much with that and just have fun. My tendency to be a perfectionist would not have allowed for it otherwise I feel.
